Rob Newsomi would recomend a Pitbull . they are upper medium sized and generally silent strong dogs who will guard you to the death . They tend to get nasty with other dogs . I would recomend getting them neutered/spayed . I think the males look better . The females get thin fast if they have pups , in my experience .

Game_OverYou should get a greyhound rescue. I have two of them. They don't bark and they are very friendly. They don't shed and they don't smell like dogs. Most of them are kennel trained so they are easy to house train. Now that I've had one, I would never have another kind of dog again.
While they are not small dogs, you won't notice them any more than you would a small dog.
The only thing about Greyhounds is they MUST stay inside (not outside dogs) because they have no body fat, and they MUST be on a leash when they are outside because they are trained to run and are likely to get run over by a car.

dcm1419Shiba inus don't bark much at all and they are small.

Also the barkless dark a basenji, but some yoddle louding and bay, plus they are a little antisocial.

A great dog, would doesn't bark very much or shed very much is a pitbull, dispite what you may have heard about them being unpredictable and turning, they are wonderful dogs would deserve a chance, mine doesn't bark at all.

Rhodesian ridgebacks, although on the larger side, don't bark much either.
