The dog may be less agressive because there is less testosterone the dog will be less likely to hump, mark, fight rival males, and make escape attempts It does NOT make them less playful.. it doesnt change their activity levels. It does make your dog more focused.. he's less concerned about seeking mates and males to fight, so he's more focused on YOU. the only changes that occour after a neuter are the hormonal changes.

They stay the same time but they will be alot less chance for aggression and you don't have to worry about your dog reproducing. They just clip the balls, little shrimps pop out, they sew them back up, and they are good. They will be a little discomfortable for a couple of days but they are fine! He'll be the same happy puppy without developing dominance issues, testicular cancer or those "inappropriate" behaviors. He'll still lift his leg to pee, still be a male. It is much safer for a dog to be neutered because you leave him at the risk of impregnating female dogs. Some behavioral issues will also become nonexistent. Please; Be a responsible owner and do the right thing for your pup. Get him fixed and I assure you that you will still have your little jumpy dog as a playmate, not some dull, boring pup.
