They always want to play fight with each other, which is fine, but it often turns too rough or even bloody. I understand they are puppies and are full of energy, but I just don’t want to see one get hurt. How do I discourage this behavior with out making them think “play fighting” is bad?

Every 3-4 hours I have been getting up and bringing them downstairs (separatly) to go potty. (12:30, 3:30, and we are up for the day at 5:30am) This is beginning to wear me out. If I ignore it they cry and howl for more than 40 minutes and I can’t stand it. Aren’t I getting them into the habit of going every 3-4 hours and how do I lengthen that time?
