Dogs and Puppies

My dog had puppies on 4/25. When should we start them on puppy chow?
I was sure it was 4 weeks but she is now acting like she does not want to nurse then anymore, I wasn’t sure if I had wrong information. Thanks!!!

Pet stores in my area have been getting busted left and right for dealing with puppy mills. I don’t want to contribute to that kind of activity.

We have a 4 yr. old german shepard that we love. She was getting bored though as the kids started school so we decided to get a 6 wk. old puppy (lab/shepard mix) for her to play with. When they are outside they seem to play with each other and have fun. Inside our older dog is growling and baring her teeth at the puppy because the puppy wants to constantly play, while our older dog wants to be left alone to some extent. Our older dog is especially upset by any attention my husband shows the puppy as he is her alpha male. ALso sometimes our older dog seems somewhat afraid to go near the puppy indoors, which seems odd since she is a lot bigger and stronger than this little puppy. any hints at how to help this situation?

My puppy has started going to puppy classes, but other than us there’s only one other puppy there. How should we behave around them so they can get along better?
We let them off on a field, it starts as playing but then it become aggressive.
