iamsobored asked: my parents and i have made an agreement that if i get good grades next year, i can get a puppy. i might sound spoiled, but weve discussed this for a while. i have decided to pick the breed i want now. i am pretty confident about my grades, but im not getting my hopes too high. i just wanna pick the breed just in case. my top 3 are…
~long haired chihuahua
~golden retriever
~pomeranian
my mom doesnt want a big dog, but im trying to convince her about the golden. my dad doesnt really care either way. btw im 13.

-Grc- asked:
I live in my parents’ home, and they do not like dogs in their home. I have always wanted to start dog showing, but am not able to get a show dog myself. What are ways to participate in conformation showing without purchasing a show dog? (How to find someone to allow me handle their dog if they don’t even know me) I can’t get into junior handling since I am over the age limit.

haleser3 asked:
why cant you just breed healthy nice dogs. whats whroung with having healthy puppies and selling them to loving families who dont care if there parents won this or that. I dont mean picking up some random dog off the street. You would still make sure that it was a healthy dog and you would check his/her personality to make sure its normal for that breed. People who buy family dogs don’t care if it’s genes won champions they only care that it came from srong, healthy, purebred, good looking dogs.

Yesterday my parents brought home 2 puppies that their friend was going to leave in the streets. I already have a older dog. How can I get him to interact with the 2 new puppies. The new puppies are 6 weeks old and my older dog is about 10 years old. Thanks!

Peek a boo asked:
My parents accidental bought purina puppy chow for all puppies instead of the puppy chow for large breed puppies. Should we take the bag back and get the large breed puppy food or is the all puppy food fine for her. Does she need the joint lubrication stuff in her food or will she be fine in the future and not get any joint problems unless she is overweight or getting old?

spald asked:
If the mother’s purebreed status is already registered, but the father’s isn’t quite through the paper work, is it safe to allow them to have the puppies knowing that the father’s registration will come through sooner or later so the puppies can be registered and sold as purebreeds?
