Dogs and Puppies

I am thinking about getting a puppy but I don’t know what age I should b looking for. I basically want to know what age when puppies are old enough to leave their mom. 6 weeks? 8 weeks? 10 weeks? 12 weeks? 16 weeks?

My mom just got me this really cute puppy that’s a chihuahau and I really love her. I even bought alll her things the day I got her. The problem is that she refuses to sleep alone in her bed even though my bed is next to hers. She’ll start crying if I don’t get up and calm her down and doing that kept me up half of the night. So I took her and put her in my bed but my mom found out and told me to put her back in her bed. After all I did she kept crying still and my sister took her to her bed. I really hope that tonight will be better bacause I’m really tired from last night. So all I’m asking is that if anyone knows what I can do? How can I make her calm down and go to sleep? How do I make her understand that she can’t sleep on my bed? I understand that she’s a puppy and is scared but I really need help.

Well my mom really wants to get a dog and seems very serious. She wants a small dog that will not be to loud and obedient. Their is a 12 year old son and a 15 year old girl in the family.My mom likes chihuahuas but I heard those weren’t great to keep with kids and were a bit nippy and loud. What would be the best dog for us considering this is going to be our first time owning a dog?

My dad saved this pitbull from the pound. She is a sweetie but he didn’t get her fixed so she got pregnant…She had 8 puppies and they are almost two weeks old. Me and my mom are freaking out about making sure they go to a good home because of the reputation they have..Does anyone have any advice?

But if puppies were never sold, how long do they stay with mom? What age will mom make her puppies leave her?

I have three puppies one month old and they are starting to eat the same food as their mom, I try to give them milk for puppies because the mom doesn’t have that much milk but they don’t drink it they like better regular dog food. I don’t know how they chew it.
