dogsbestfriend27 asked: I would like to know in a multi-dog household if there were more issues with food aggression or dog to dog aggression around the food bowls? So if they were on table scraps for their meals what feeding behaviors did you see?

decaelegant asked: I recently took in a puppy. She is very well-behaved, very calm and loving.
However, my three-year-old dog has been used to being the only pet in the household. She is not necessarily well-behaved among other dogs, so she growls at the puppy a lot. Her overall reaction is rather unwelcoming. When the puppy approaches her, she tends to let off a growl and her tail stands stiffly up.
My question is how do I integrate my older dog to the new puppy so that she’ll accept the family addition?

True Blue asked:
Where I come from you are only allowed to have 2 dogs per household. I see many people on here with more so just out of curiosity how many dogs are you legally allowed to have and how many do you have?
Ilive in Qld Australia and we can have two but can apply for a permit to have more if we live on a bigger property.

I have a 1.5 year old male dog and we are attempting to introduce a female 5 year old of the same breed. My dog has never faught with another dog before - until now! We don’t understand why this is happening when we get them to meet since both dogs are very tame.
