misha515 asked: I have a 2 year old dog and she is fully house trained. She has never gone in her crate or in the house by accident. But if my friends dog is in our house, or we go over my brother’s house for a holiday, she’ll pee on the rug. Does anyone else have this problem? I guess she’s jealous or something. I yell at her but every once in awhile she’ll do it. How can I get her to stop? I’m not going to tell my friend to leave her dog home, and I can’t give her 100% attention at a party.

Grace L asked: My dog is an outside dog and it rains during the winter months. Every time I come home he’s sitting next to his doghouse wet. I don’t know how to train him to use the dog house. Plz don’t give answers about keeping him inside.
Just to clear the air we keep him inside when we’re home, we leave him outside when we’re not home which is about 8 hours.

I have seen two pitbulls left outside during the storms in the Bay Area. There is no dog house for both of them to find shelter. The dogs never seem to come in the house. There is never anyone to clean the feces, and it just sits there for the dogs to live in. The dogs never anyone around to walk these two dogs. My family has had our dog since he was a puppy (now 6). He has always been a backyard dog, as he is half Lab and half Rot Weiler and is huge. We rarely let him go inside the house because he sheds a lot. I am thinking about getting a smaller dog just for me that I would keep indoors, but I’m not sure how my older dog would react. I mean I know he will get jealous, but I’m not sure how bad it will be or if it would start to affect his health in any way. Any thoughts?
