Julia asked: How do dogs know the difference between adults and kids? I have seen dogs tolerate and continue to play with a child even after the child (baby) tugged on them. If an adult did this, then they would risk being bitten by the dog.

♥☆Mrs. Rose☆♥ asked:
My husband and I are having a barbecue this weekend for 40 people. How many hamburgers and hot dogs should we get? My husband thinks we need 60 hot dogs and 40 hamburgers. I think that’s way too much!
No kids are attending. It’s an adult barbecue.

I am very familiar with birds but not very experienced with dogs. As a child, I had 3 dogs (mixed species) who were really good around our birds. However, as an adult, I have never had a dog around my birds. I’d like to get a dog someday and prefer bigger dogs than little dogs. If anyone can help answer this question, I would truly appreciate it. Thanks!

JennyJo asked:
When she first meets a dog she automatically tries to establish dominance. If the other dog is submissive, things are fine, but at times she just doesn’t get along with others–especially if it’s an adult dog. Is there a way that I can be the dominant one and keep her from doing this with other dogs or do I just need to let the dogs work it out.
