corbin_rox asked:
My dog had puppies 5 weeks ago today. Is it to early to get rid of them? I can’t stand them. They piss and shit all over the kitchen. They are noisy and they stink. They are driving me crazy.

8 weeks is the general rule of thumb. And get your dog fixed. Why the hell are you breeding her anyway?
September 4th, 2009 at 12:42 am
Wow. Yes 5 weeks is too early. You need to keep them until they can eat completely on their own, usually 8 weeks. After you rehome the puppies, please spay your dog. Then you won’t have to be bothered with puppies ever again.

Nice.
The puppies cannot be taken from mom until at the VERY LEAST 8 WEEKS.
You *ss!! Once the puppies are gone I suggest giving mom to a better home as well as any other pets you might have.
I’m thoroughly disgusted by you.
ADDED….Since you felt you needed to tell me to f*ck off through my e-mail, I thought I would let you know that 1. you are NOT a reputable breeder, 2. your “situation” doesn’t matter, you have puppies because you obviously were not responsible with your dog, and 3. puppies are a HUGE responsibility. Especially a litter.
So get over yourself and stop insulting and harassing others just because they point out the FACTS to you. Remember…YOU ASKED!

u should have done the responsible thing and have you dog spayed BEFORE this occured!
but it is to early to “get rid of them” they should be at least 8 weeks before that.

dont get them to close to their mom they wont want to leave if they are close to her. bring them to a shelter like petco or petsmart youll get over it.

Give the puppies the benefit of at least 8 weeks to be with their mom. Otherwise they won’t know how to be dogs, and you’ll be giving away a stinky, smelly time bomb.
If the puppies were not raised around small children for these 8 weeks, please do not give the puppies to a family with small children.

thats what you deal with when you dont spay your dog and if you was planning on breeding her you should of known what a big responsibilty it is to breed a dog and the results
September 13th, 2009 at 8:48 am
Yes it is. You should not “get rid of them” before 8 weeks.
You should have thought of this before you decided to be a negligent pet owner and NOT have your dog spayed.
Clean up after them, try to be responsible and bring them to the vet for all shots, deworming, flea/tick prevention. Also check up on the mama. Keep the record of all treatment as that needs to go to new homes with the puppies too.
I hope you already have homes lined up because a lot of people will think you are a puppy miller.
Any pet store that would take them from you should be shut down!

You should have thought about that before your dog had pups. Please have her spayed after the pups are gone.

u have to w8 until they are 2 months old if u wanna take them to a store or something, if not you should stick with them for 2 more weeks, hey i had a puppy i know what its like but i dk how its like to have 5, i only had 1 and that drived me nuts, but i lov her to the limit, just give the puppies time, or if u just **** hate them give them away lol, wel good luk
oo w8 u can also take them to an adoption center, they accept any age there!

Yes it’s too early, you need to wait until they’re 8 weeks. Maybe this will teach you to be more responsible in future ie get your dog spayed for starters. You should have thought of this beforehand.

Yes it is too early to get rid of them and for your information if you can’t stand puppies you should have never bred your dog so here’s a thought–GET HER FIXED OR BETTER YET FIND HER A HOME WERE SHE AND HER PUPS ARE LOVED.

it is to to early to get rid of them. they are too young. you have to wait until they are about 8 weeks old. just deal with them for another 3 weeks and it might be over.

they need at least 1 more week. be consistant. i have a lab puppy and she drives me crazy, so i know what you feel like. keep them in one room with hardwood floors or tile. good luck!!

you can give them away in one week to loving homes or a no kill shelter…. good luck!
