Check your local animal shelter (the pound) or animal rescue group …they sometimes get purebred dogs of all sizes and that’s about the cost of their adoption fees, plus vaccines and neutering.

Sure, go to the animal shelter and pick one out. The $100 dollars you spend on that puppy will include the spay/neuter all of it’s vaccinations and sometimes even microchipping.
You’ll save a life and also save money on the health and well being of a cute shelter pup.

You can usually adopt puppies so you don’t have to go to a pet store to get one. If you adopt you’re also helping save dogs from being killed — puppies can get put down too sometimes, and even when they’re not older dogs have to be put down to make room at the shelter for the puppies.
Keep in mind a dog can easily be a 16 year commitment and will come with $100s of dollars of vet bills, though.

puppies that are cheap unless they come from a shelter will be the result of a byb and full of problems,if you have done your research and looked into it check out your local shelter .i am questioning why you want a cheap puppy if your wanting a cheap puppy can you afford the food vet care and everything else

There are tons of purebred puppies who need homes, and even more mixes. Any puppy you buy from a breeder for that amount is going to be poorly bred, and you’ll be supporting that.
Do you have the money for shots? They start at $100. Altering starts at $100. Obedience starts at $100. Supplies BEFORE food will run you at least $100.
If you can’t afford to spend more than $100 to buy a puppy, are you SURE you can afford to own one?

Go to your shelter. Puppies there are usually cheap because the people just want the dogs to get good homes.

You didn’t mention your age. You may be purchasing or adopting the puppy, but who will be taking on the financial responsibility for the puppy after that? Do you live with your parents? Are they willing and able to cover the costs of a puppy? Between food, collar, leash, kennel, toys, training, vaccinations and spaying/neutering, they can expect to spend between $800 -$1000 the first year. Have you considered what breed or mixes of breeds will best suit your home, yard and lifestyle? Really small breeds can be very fragile and really large breeds require immediate, consistent and effective training and cost more to feed. Do you have a fenced in yard? If not, you will have to walk your dog several times a day, rain or shine, hot or cold. I am not saying that you are not ready for a dog, but any puppy under $100 is no way to choose a dog. This is a huge commitment, and not all breeds fit well into all households. Please do a little research before getting any dog. Are you ready for training a puppy? Perhaps you should research that first, you may decide to adopt an adult dog that is already trained. Happy Birthday!
