    Another question just like this was just asked. Your dog should have been spayed. You should know when the puppies are coming from the date that she bred. 63 days. Go get your dog spayed if it is not to late and quit being so irresponsible. Urgh!

    I dont understand why anyone would be mean and tell u to stop being irresponsible just because you asked a question…apparently your trying to find out to help your dog :) On a lighter note…..They do not lactate until right before the puppies are born. It is a good sign that when the milk comes in the puppies will be there any day now. The nipples do get fat earlier in the pregnancy though. Remember that sometimes the puppies will not drink off of a full teat. Mastitis can develope if the milk is sitting there too long.

    Good luck with the puppies! I would search the web a little about dogs first litter. It is harder for them when it is their first litter, they can get real scared too.
