How do I keep people’s dogs from peeing in my parents front plants?

dogs
Thomas Jefferson asked:

Some people keep bringing their dogs to pee in front of my parents’ house. On their plants. It leaves a really strong smell. I don’t know how people can let their dogs pee on people’s potted plants!

Any ideas how to stop people from bringing their dogs to pee on the plants?

Take that up in the dog section.

You might need to move the plants. Because once a dog marks its territory their is no stopping them.

  7. MainWorry Says:

Put another object out there for them to pee on, the smellier the better.

    A fence would also work.

You are in the wrong category. Try the “dog” section. (but thanks for the extra points)

Put a large picture of Ceiling Cat right by the plants. That will put the fear of cat in them.

You can get spray - that keeps them away. Go to your local pet shop. You can also get an electronic fence - that will also keep them away.

Plug up a electric wire on the plant,s,,and they won’t want
    to pee on them again.

Put powdered pepper and baking soda. Baking soda so that it would not smell its “toilet” spot. Pepper to make it sneeze.

People, particularly the trainers at Petco or Petsmart know lots of tips and tricks to help.
You’ll probably have better luck getting answers in the pets section.

If there are NO small children around, you can try moth, camphor flakes. There may be other scents but I can not think of them.
I think chrysantheums keep away some rodents. There might even be a flower scent they also dislike.

How to stop neighboors dogs from peeing in my grass?

wrong section.. .make a sign telling owners to stop their dogs from doing it ,,, it’s not the dogs fault they smell the pee and mark too ..one pee begets another and another ….let the owners know you’re not appreciating it ..they will go and pee on the neighbors bush ..
