My dog had a heart attack a few years ago when he was about 15. To nurse him back to health we put him on a white rice and chicken fillet diet. It is easy on their stomach. You can also get a chew bone by pedigree chum which will help clean his teeth daily without the trauma of a toothbrush. Your vet may also give your dog a vitamin or healthy joint tonic to put in his food. I'm sure you won't forget to give your dog plenty of hugs :) I hope she improves well, giver her a pat from me!
