In most parts of the US, dogs are not allowed on the bus unless they fit in a portable carrier (which means they have to weigh less than 20-30lbs).  In Canada, dogs are allowed on most public transportation.  Most of our clients that don't drive either get a friend to drive them or call a taxi.  A few of them walk.  The other option is to call around and see if any of the vets in your area do housecalls.</description>
