For dogs that live outside how can you make their life comfy? A large doghouse for two dogs,btw.

Dogs are very social animals. So I think it is unjust to leave them out in the backyard. I have never had an outside dog. My 145 lb. rottie is a house dog. I wouldn’t have it any other way. They need the company of the owners and a feeling of belonging. For their mental being, they would be better off living in the house than isolated in the backyard in my opinion. dogsbestfriend27

Give them toys and chew things so they aren’t bored. Make sure there’s a door on their house and blankets or a big pillow to lay on. Always have water available. knuckleheadboy

small kids swimming pool….toys…..bones…..you, you and you…..play with them…..work on training skills….just sit with them and read a book….like the person in one of your answers said..dogs are social animals and need their humans Bindy S

Well you can’t just leave her/him outside all day. The dog will get lonely and start to not listen to you. Ya you can leave her out for 1-2 hours or longer if you are with them. If you realy want to do that you are torchering her. But 1-2 hours won’t hurt. Put some toys with dog food stuck in them and water. Kaciie

a dog needs to feel like he/she is part of the family so i would get a doghouse and put pillows, blankets, food/water and toys,toys, toys-stuffed ones too. they get lonely all by themselfs so you need to play with them as much as possible or get them aonther pet. they are like people, they all need someone. they all need to feel that someone loves them. nilescclover
