JC asked: I have a rottweiler puppy who is now 6 months old. She is on Bakers puppy food (which states its up to 24 months old (2yrs)). I am wondering at what age can she go onto regular dog food, is it at 2yrs old or can it be sooner?

Lindsay R asked: Puppy will be 12 weeks old when cropped. Will puppy be bandaged right away or will they come home with just splints? And what pain medication did your vets prescribe for your puppy?

Sriparna S asked: I am thinking of getting a puppy growing to be medium sized but the problem is no one is at home from 8 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon. What should I do to keep the puppy occupied? Should I leave it in a crate that long? My father may come at around noon to have lunch and take the puppy out to relieve itself. What should I do for the puppy during the 4 hours or so it is alone at home?

Ingrid D asked: I am thinking about buying a puppy that has an inguinal hernia. The breeder let me know all about it and is letting me have him for a fraction of the price of the other puppies. However, is this surgery going to cost me a lot more money? Should I buy a regular healthy puppy for a few more hundred dollars? The puppy is only 8 weeks old. How soon before i can have the surgery?

jelly asked: My little dog gets the hiccups a few times a week. My other dog never gets them, and I have never had a dog that has gotten them. Is it normal for a dog to get hiccups?
I knew it was common for a puppy to get the hiccups. My Simon is three now and still gets them a lot. I just think it is strange. It is cute when he gets them, he gets all scaird and comes cuddle up with me. I usually pat him on the back or rub his belly till they go away

thanks for the answers.

jessiemay20033 asked: I recently purchased a small full grown dog from someone. They did not want the dog, bought it for their grandaughter and now have no use for it. Since I am a dog lover and hate to see a dog being kept in a cage. I offered to buy her from them. They agreed. They do not know what type of dog it is. Has a shot record, but nothing says what type.
It’s very small and have long straight hair. The size of the TACO BELL DOG (I can not spell it). Will the vet be able to tell me, what kind it is? Or do I have to go to a humane society or something like that?
Thanks!

thewordsicantsay asked: My dog seems to throw up most treats and foods that we give him because he has a super sensitive stomach. We have found one brand of food called natural choice that is for sensitive stomachs that doesn’t make him sick and have been giving it to him for quite a while now, but i really don’t think that my dog likes it. Does anyone have any other recommendations of food for my dog?
