A woman my mother knows just recently had a litter of puppies with her dog, although one survived. Our dog had puppies, too, and one has also survived out of a litter of six. The woman’s dog won’t nurse her puppy, but our dog is nursing ours. How safe would it be to take the woman’s puppy and have her nurse on our dog instead?

I am looking to buy a puppy cocker spaniel for my husband. I wanted to buy one from a local AKC breeder in town, but their next litter has a chocolate male and buff female. My husband is wanting a parti or tri colored male. My question is, is it possible for them to have puppies that aren’t solid colors?

Every year there’s a tragic news story of an owner drowning whilst trying to rescue their beloved dog from a body of water, but the dog always manages to survive.

Maybe the dogs get fed up with the same walk route everyday, or being fed the same old tin of dog food.

Dogs watch the news as well y’know, I reckon it gives them ideas.

I need help with this really bad. I’m watching my cousin’s dog for a whole week and my dog is terrible around other dogs. He starts trying to bite the dog and then he just sits in a corner and cries for a little while. Any advice to make him like the dog, or at least behave around him? My dog’s a Golden Retriever, so of course he’s very loyal and I think he might be jealous of the dog. Please help! Thanks!

I live in San Jose, CA, and, as you know, it’s summer over here. I need a dog who can stand the heat. I want a Siberian Husky, but I know California isn’t meant for dogs from the north. What I’m looking for is a big dog (not toy, and medium-sized could work), a sporting or working one. Any ideas on which dog ideal for a Californian like me?
