kyle.hagen asked: I used to feed my dogs lesser quality dog food a long with mixing in rice and scraps. Ever since read the ingredients and found that the dog food is junk I decided to buy a natural dog food and not mix in any extras and my vet told me to drizzle a little olive oil on it. My dogs don’t like it at all. How can I get them to eat it/ not be fussy?

erskine asked: The Guide Dogs for the Blind say three guide dogs a month are attacked by other dogs. Many of the dogs are so traumatised they have to be retired.
What can we do to protect the guide dogs and their owners?
Many thanks for your answers which I will forward to the Guide Dogs Association.
Best wishes.
Hi Mark
Wouldn’t the whistle also scare and disorientate the guide dog?
Also the guide dog might also be sprayed with the pepper spray.
There really are some brutal people who have brutalised their own dogs.
Best wishes.

Brittaney asked: I am looking to get a dog. I live in a residence hall, so there would be college students frequently stopping by. I would like a dog that is good with strangers (doesn’t bark at knocking, won’t snap if someone pets it) and also is good with other dogs (so people with dogs can dog-sit). There is a 50 pound maximum where I live on how heavy the dog can be. It would also be nice if the breed is easy to train and groom. Any suggestions would be great

John asked: I am in the process of trying to open a pet store and DO NOT want to get my puppies from a puppy mill. Unfortunately, if I were to buy them one at a time from individual breeders, I would not be able to stay in business. Can anyone tell me where I can buy multiple puppies of various breeds that have been bred in humane conditions? Please do not respond just to tell me not to open a pet store. Thanks.

Theonewhoasks asked: The puppies are a little more than 4 weeks old and were born in a neighbor’s shed, so they can’t have been infected after birth. The mother was a street dog and hasn’t shown any symptoms of rabies yet, but I heard it can take up to 6 months for symptoms to show. Is it safe to adopt and handle the puppies? They haven’t shown any symptoms either. Can rabies be transmitted through the father?
